Like Most Things, It Started with a Promise
I blame someone for the creation of this blog—and no, it’s not someone who broke my heart. It’s actually quite the opposite. See, I stumbled upon this poem by Tyler Knott Gregson…

…and I thought it beautiful, inspiring, sincere. I thought, It’s something I would say to someone I love. It’s something I’d like to encourage friends and family with. I began typing out the words on Twitter and Facebook’s update boxes, until I realised that these words, though not mine, are far too special to throw around like that. These words are not for the general public. These words are not generic. These words are meant to be addressed to someone equally special, someone specific. Someone in my life—whether I’ve already met her or not—deserves to hear these words coming from me, in the flesh, through the phone, or through writing, because I’m devoted to, have faith in, and in love with her.
Needless to say, I don’t know who she is yet, but finding out is the adventure I’m sort of looking forward to alongside this project. Here I will be reblogging/posting thoughts, pictures, music, and the randomest of things remotely related to my next (epic) girl love, wherever and whoever she might be.
So here’s to Project: Girl Love, the newest sappy space on the Internet. Cheers! <3
